Linda Dement Killer work in progress
A series of still images begun as an offshoot from The Ends of the Earth‚ a collborative project (still underway in early stages) with environmental campaigner & film maker Jane Castle. We have researched‚ photographed‚ recorded sounds and interviewed locals in remote locations of human settlement in the Catalan High Pyrenees (during a residency at the Centre di Art I Natura) and Svalbard in the Arctic Circle (as guest artist at the Svalbard Villmarksenter ).
These images use as their basis drawings made in these remote locations and scans of detritus found and retrieved there.
They will be output as Lambda prints‚ 1.5 x 1.5 metres each
